Brynn came to Vancouver on Saturday. I wasn't able to go to the dog run, which almost never happens, but thankfully now that Turtle Gardens has such an amazing network of volunteers, it wasn't a problem. Brynn stayed at Denise's place over night and I picked her up on Sunday. She was afraid when I put her leash and collar on and her chin went to the ground like she wished she could sink underground and hide. She rode well in the vehicle, glancing at me with sideways looks. We spent the evening on the couch and she decided I wasn't so bad after all. She has been building confidence quickly ever since.

Brynn has been doing well at daycare. She took a couple of days to warm up and find friends to play with but the daycare staff told me today she found her inner terrier and reminded them she wasn't just cute...she's also got an opinion. She was barking at other dogs today. At home she's quiet though.

Brynn has been sleeping through the night really well and hasn't had any accidents in the house. In fact, she has been holding back on peeing at the end of the night and is showing me her bladder-like-a-camel routine. She is coming around and has been more willing to 'go' when we get outside. She walks super well on the leash, prancing alongside me with no tension on the leash at all. She is independent enough to lay on her side of the couch on her own, but when she chooses to snuggle - look out. She's sucking me in with her ability to snuggle right in, with her head under my chin, she fits herself into you like a puzzle piece. I'm thinking she is close to being ready for adoption but I haven't seen quite enough of her personality just yet to know what her best match will be. I don't think it will be long before she tells me though.

Brynn is doing very well in Foster Finishing School! She looks like the "first ambassadog for TG" Samantha!! But a lot smaller. Waht a cutie-patootie!! Thank you so very much Lisa B.

I wonder how long she'll take before she lets her terrier genes come through and has her first bout of Zoomies. I can just picture her being totally relaxed enough to let go! How lucky for her to be with you. :)
Brynn looks so gorgeous and your photos show how she has become more confident; great job. Brynn looks a bit like a Schnauzer?!
